Dorothy’s reading “Griffey’s Theory,” a sci-fi paperback about an alien invasion. As the novel progresses and takes hold of Dorothy’s imagination, she hears a broadcast of an actual alien encounter. Not positive if the broadcast is a real threat, Dorothy eventually cuts herself off from the world and attempts to find answers in the book, “Griffey’s Theory.”
